stained glass, stained glass panel
Many people have hobbies; but, one of the most unusual hobbies is making stained glass objects.  Cutting a stained glass panel is difficult; but, putting all the pieces in place perfectly takes nerves of steel and the patience of Job. Having the glass in tight enough without having it appear too tight, or fusing metallic oxides into it requires a good eye, steady hands, and the desire to make decorative applications to your project.

I have a dear friend who has been making stained glass objects for years.  He began with small window pieces, jewelry boxes, and Christmas ornaments.  He was kind enough to give me a lovely green cat for my kitchen window, and a beautiful roses for my bedroom.  I also purchased a jewelry box from his online site for a Christmas gift.  He has become extremely professional in his endeavor, and he is on the fast track of popularity and developing a reputation in his field.  I am so proud of him, and I have several pieces of his work displayed at my home and one at my office.
