Stained Glass is Like a Religious Experience |

It could be that every time I have run into a spectacular example of stained glass it is at a church or maybe it is just coincidence but seeing certain colorful stained glass scenes is nothing short of a religious experience. Check out the video below and tell me I’m wrong. I don’t think you will be able to. Religious or not certain Catholic churches like the one in New York featured in the video highlight the dying art known as stained glass. When sunlight shines though some of these biblical moments in time you can’t help but nod your head up and down and say this is beautiful.
I was blown away by the vibrant colors included in some of the stained glass pieces in the video above. Talk about talent. It is hard enough to be able to paint a picture of that quality let alone do it one a pane of glass. I’m not really sure how the process works but am sure it is a very skilled craft. Stained glass is an art popularized in Catholic churches but beautiful in any location. I love how natural light is the main ingredient to making the image pop. It just gives off a positive feel.
