Stained Glass Bookmarks
There is a flower shop down the street from me. I love walking by it and seeing how the display window is decorated, especially with whatever holiday or special occasion might be approaching. One day I saw some stained glass being put in on either side of the display case window. On my walk the next morning, I saw the completed project and was instantly impressed. The stained glass windows actually enhanced the display case by appearing as bookmarks on either side.
I went inside and asked the owner what had given her that idea. She confessed that she saw it in a shop when she went to Europe and by doing some research online, she found some wonderful stained glass she could easily afford.
To this day people remark about how the stained glass windows emphasize the display case and bring out even more the beauty and magic of whatever season or occasion is being displayed. I normally associate stained glass with church and never would have thought of it as doing something so unconnected. It made me see stained glass in a whole new light regarding creativity and imagination and now I am looking at other ways it can be implemented into a home or business.
