Getting New Decorative Glasses Once This Cat Goes Back Home |

I inherited a cat whose primary role in my home is to tip things over. There is nothing she enjoys more than tipping over decorative glasses and since she broke all of them, I'm not replacing them until she is out of here. Her owner is supposed to come for her in June which is nearly here. At that time, I will be replacing my plastic glasses and canning jars (they don't break easily) with more decorative glasses.
The canning jars have been wonderful for beverages. It's hard to have company and serve beverages in them, but once I explain to them that my cat knocks things down, they are pretty understanding. Lots of people don't like using plastic for food or beverages, so the jars were my solution. The cat is a female Bengal and they are a nice pet in all other ways. Bengals are fascinated with water so that's probably why she enjoyed knocking over the decorative glasses to watch the water hit the floor, the coffee table, and everywhere else that I USED to put glasses with liquids in them. Now I am much more careful and watch my beverages like a hawk. |
