tiffany glass, stained glass           The Fine Workmanship Of Tiffany Glass

I have always enjoyed the finer things in life. There, I said it. My husband will be very proud of me since I’ve admitted something he’s known for so long and I constantly love to deny. I’ve never been materialistic; I just enjoy looking and feeling nice things. Especially when I work hard to get them.

One of my latest purchases was a Tiffany glass lamp. I love the workmanship of the stained glass lampshade which is so common to Tiffany glass lamps. The greens, blues and reds seem to glow from within and give the room a soft radiance.

What’s even better about the Tiffany glass lamp is the base of the lamp. It’s a beautiful brushed brass finish, which makes it look antiqued. There are intricate carvings within the brass giving it a worn, weathered look as well. Just looking at the lamp makes the atmosphere of the room more relaxed and refined.

Now that I’ve gotten my Tiffany glass lamp, I’m going to work on some new mosaic topped plant tables, which I am going to make myself. I think I’m going to use the Tiffany glass lamp as my inspiration. I can’t wait to see how they will turn out.
