My Stained Glass Obsession |

Recently I was lucky enough to go to New York City and one of the things I was most excited to see was the stained glass exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This museum has one of the biggest collections of stained glass that I have ever seen and it was a site to behold let me tell you. I spent hours just gazing at the Tiffany glass which was truly amazing to see. Just prior to taking my New York City trip I had been in the market to find a nice camera so that I could take some pretty awesome pictures and I was lucky enough to find just the perfect camera for me at an online store called Circuit Values located at www.circuitvalues.com. Here I was able to purchase the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ50 Digital Camera - Silver - 9.1 Megapixel - 16:9 - 10x Optical Zoom - 4x Digital Zoom - 3" Active Matrix TFT Color LCD and I was so glad that I had that camera. The pictures I took of the stained glass exhibit came out so beautiful. I think I took a hundred pictures from every angle of every single piece of stained glass that the museum had.
When I got home from my trip and had the pictures developed I was thrilled that all my stained glass pictures had come out so well. Since I had been in the process of doing some major redecorating at my apartment I was looking for some artwork to put up on my walls. I had this great idea when I saw the pictures I had taken of the stained glass exhibits, to have some of them blown up and framed and use them as artwork for the walls in my apartment. It turned out really nice and I have received so many compliments on my artwork. Now I find myself driving by churches and really seeking out old houses just to check out the stained glass features of these older buildings and perhaps to add more artwork to my walls. I guess that what attracts me most to stained glass is that it is truly an art for one thing to be able to create these stained glass treasures but each piece of stained glass that I see gives me a tranquil feeling whenever I look at it. Now that I have my new camera I will surely be taking many new pictures of my latest obsession of stained glass articles.
