The other day I was driving past a church and I noticed the light reflecting from the stained glass. It was so beautiful that I actually stopped my car at a nearby parking lot and stepped out to admire the glow from where I was standing. It was truly one of the most beautiful sights I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve always been a huge fan of stained glass, and have always wanted to have some in my home, but I’ve never added any.

As I stood there admiring the stained glass and the brilliant colors and glow from the light, I couldn’t help but get tears in my eyes, it was that beautiful. I found myself thinking about where I could add some stained glass in my home to get that same type of effect when the sun hit it just right. I think that I may talk to my husband about adding some across the top of our front and back doors, because one gets morning sun and the other gets the afternoon.  It would allow me to enjoy the sunshine on the glass, not once but twice a day. It’s truly amazing.
