An Invention as Beautiful as Stained Glass |

Active Noise Sound Cancelling Headphones
When I think of stained glass, grand pictures of hundred year old Catholic Cathedrals come pouring into my head. Those amazing churches built during the dark ages to show all those who entered their large wooden doors framed by stained glass panels just how great God is. While I am still impressed with the beauty of stained glass there are some new techy products on the market which are just as spectacular in my eyes. One of them is the current video game consoles. I am a gamer through and through but living in apartment has me watching my sound levels.
Sound cancelling headphones plugged into my receiver to mask the sound of digital gun fire, virtual replications of super car motors and pretend police sirens are as wonderful to me as a stained glass rendering of Jesus with hands out stretched. My love affair with this perfect advancement in solo audio quality really hit my radar after visiting an online retailer called Circuit Values at http://www.circuitvalues.com/. There is where I found the first pair of sound cancelling headphones for under 300 dollars. To be more precise, the Active Noise Cancelling Headphones, seen in the picture above only cost 157.49 dollars. The product details state these babies protect against up to 20dB of noise cancellation, reduce ambient sounds 60-70 percent and have a volume control on the head set.
Imagining how much more exciting gaming would be with these had me giddy as a graduate getting ready to march down the red carpet to pick up their college diploma. The better video games get, the cleaner their sound effects are. I am continually blown away by how crisp video game sound effects like gunfire, engine noise or natural sounds are.
My first experience with sound cancelling headphones was on an airplane. An old remote had the latest and greatest set of sound chancellors on the market and let me borrow them for a trip home. His cost over 300 dollars which sort of left a sour taste in my mouth even though they were so cool. That is why when I saw the Active Noise Cancelling Headphones for such a great price my faith was restored in the product. It was similar to a restoral of faith after seeing a magnificent stained glass exhibit. Both inventions are amazing but stained glass has history on its side. For this 21st century guy, the marvels of this world are seen with electronics. Stained glass is still spectacular though.
