decorative glass, stained glassWhen someone mentions decorative glass to me I envision stained glass windows or multi-colored Tiffany lamps. However the truth is that plain colorless glass can also be decorative. I recently purchased a diffuser that comprises of oil and wooden reeds which stand in a decorative glass bottle. This decorative glass bottle looks nice in my den. However the diffuser also has a practical purpose because it makes my home smell more pleasant, something which is important to me because I have pets. I also have some decorative glass perfume bottles on my dresser they all look very pretty.  I’ve also known people to have decorative glass ornaments in their homes and some of them were clear and transparent. I actually think that clear and colorless decorative glass items can look just as good as colored ones.  Some people actually prefer colorless decorative glass because they are going for a minimalistic look in their homes. I suppose everybody has their own taste when it comes to such matters. I personally do not have a particular preference, I will simply choose the kind of decorative glass that matches the room best.
