Some people say that time changes everything and for those that love stained glass, time has been good. Have you ever admired the beauty and craftsmanship of stained glass in churches and cathedrals? Well it’s no surprise because such magnificent windows can be a truly breathtaking vision. Historically, colored stained glass was only ever seen in churches and cathedrals because it was so expensive to make and through, but time has been very good to us and now the beauty of stained glass can be had by kings and paupers alike. I became very interested in stained glass at a very young age because my grandmother has always been a big fan of it. I remember the one year that she convinced my grandpa to turn one of the windows into a gorgeous stained glass panel and the results were nothing short of breathtaking. Every time we would go visit my grandparents it was easy to stand in front of that stained glass work of art in complete awe. Sometimes it felt like the stained glass itself gave off a mystical energy that captivated the mind putting it into an almost hypnotic trance.
