decorative glassThis fall I enrolled in a class at a community college to learn how to make decorative glass. Glass is such a common part of our lives and the decorative glass can be absolutely stunning. It's time for me to start learning how I can make some of it myself. Working with my hands is so therapeutic. My work is almost entirely mental, so I look for ways to get some diversity in my life. My exercise program is well underway and that helps burn off my physical energy, and I thought a hobby that I can share with others would be a great way to get out to socialize. The decorative glass class starts next week and ordered all the supplies I need to take the class online. I think it should be a blast. Over time, I'll accumulate the things I need to make the beautiful glass objects at home, or I might meet someone who I can share equipment and ideas with. They say two heads are better than one, and when it comes to creative ideas for decorative glass, that old adage could be very true.
