stained glass, tiffany glass


My Mother was especially fond of the look of stained glass. She even dabbled in the creation of small pieces.  My Mother made many stained glass window charmers and Christmas ornaments for family and friends. I still have a Santa and a wreath that are my Mom's creations. One year for Christmas my brother received a green stained glass replica of his Z-28, it was really cool! I believe it has a wooden stand and is respectfully on display on his work desk at home!  

My Mother's love of stained glass did not end there. Lamps made of Tiffany glass were a true hobby and passion of hers. My Mom collected tiffany glass lamps and had a nice variety scattered through the house. Her attempts at making Tiffany glass lamps was on a small scale. For my wedding Mom created a tulip nightstand lamp of with blue and purple stained glass. The curved stand and base are brass. The tiffany lamp is beautiful and every day it gives me a warm reminder of my Mother and her passion!
