decorative glass

My entire life, I have longed for a Grandfather Clock.  As a child, I would visit my Grandparents' home.  They had a huge Grandfather Clock, and it was just amazing.  I remember the feeling of their home, and that clock.  It meant stability, love, happiness, and good food!  Going to visit my Grandparents was always a treat, and I enjoyed those visits immensely.

I always thought I would have my own a Grandfather Clock.  However, it just did not work out.  Either I didn't have the room, money or a spouse that wanted one too.  Therefore, when I retired, I purchased a smaller home, and became a busy bee volunteering, playing bridge, attending meetings, going antiquing, and visiting with friends.  Money became tighter due to the pension, and the purchase of any large item seemed miles away.  Then one day while looking online I found an internet shop called Circuit Values located at http://www.circuitvalues.com.  I begin browsing the different areas, and there it was...the most beautiful Grandfather Clock I could imagine.  It was called Edward Meyer Grandfather Clock with Beveled Glass.  This clock was beautifully crafted wood with a timeless beauty.  It easily represented the love and attention given to fine furniture by craftsmen who take pride in their work.  It had lovely decorative glass that was beveled to enhance the workmanship.

When I discovered this Grandfather Clock at the internet shopping site, I was astounded to find it priced at an amount I could afford.  This discount store has proven to be a blessing for me personally, and it certainly has fulfilled my lifelong dream to own a Grandfather Clock.

Now, when my grandchildren come to my home, my hope is they will see and feel what I felt those many years ago when I visited my Grandparents.  I want them to associate the beauty and consistency of the clock with the unconditional love I have for them...and when I leave this Earth, I want the clock to be a reminder of the good times, stability, love, happiness and good food they had at my home.
