I recall growing up in a rather large home with my parents when I was a kid, and the most memorable part of the home was the enormous front entryway that had large stained glass windows on the top of the massive front doorway. The stained glass panels were very big and they portrayed a picture of a bird that was eating a grape off a grape tree. The coolest thing about these stained glass panels, aside from their articulate and artsy designs and patterns, and the fact that they were handmade, was when the sun would rise or set against the house in the morning or the evenings. The sun would filter through the stained glass panels and cast the most amazing designs on the tiled floor of the front entryway. Then, as the sun shifted against the horizon, the patterns that were displayed would slightly change. There was even a white wall the separated the room from the dining room where the sun would cast a stained glass shadow upon the wall, creating almost a movie of living colors that was bedazzling to the eyes!
