stained glass, stained glass panel

I have always been a huge fan of stained glass.  Although I don't own a Tiffany glass lamp, I do carry an excellent imitation.  Whenever I have the opportunity to use decorative glass throughout my home, it is a well-known fact I will do so.  However, discovering the same usage in my garden has been a real eye opener.

I was surfing the internet when I came across Circuit Values located at http://www.circuitvalues.com.  This ecommerce store has a wonderful selection of merchandise at discount prices.  I was amazed at the decorative glass items available, and there was a garden piece I fell in love with.

My family entertains a lot, and it is important to have my home as beautiful and welcoming as I can.  My husband supports my efforts, and luckily, we can afford to buy the occasional stained glass panel or opalescent glass for our home.  One day I even hope to buy some true Tiffany glass.  When I came across the solar powered calla lilly garden art, I knew I would be able to carry my love of decorative glass outside too!  We purchased several of these pieces of garden art, and they really made the garden stand out!  When Summer comes, we will start having our socials again, and when we do, the decorative glass objects will once more bring warmth and good times to our home.

My Mom liked to decorate her home; but, she never showed an interest in stained glass.  However, I had a dear friend who made stained glass panels, and he began making them for me years ago.  We have one stained glass panel in the kitchen of a cat...and it is absolutely adorable!  The colors are totally color-coordinated to my kitchen, and since I am sometimes known as the "cat lady," it fits me perfectly.

Our children and grandchildren also love decorative glass items.  They try and purchase anything with great color, looks unusual and fits our home whenever there is a special occasion.  I have noticed my daughters and their husbands seem to be adding stained glass pieces to their homes as well.  Life goes in circles, and the girls are following their Mother's lead in decorating.

I even put a stained glass panel of a little girl with flowers in the "special" guest bedroom.  This stained glass panel somehow seems so peaceful, and for some reason, whoever sleeps in that room always says they got the best night's sleep ever!
